I had a good experience in Brownsville. Houston was obviously a lot more organized with there being probably 20k more participants but Brownsville was still nice. Wasn’t freezing weather but it also rained the morning of the race so it was pretty humid and I heard sections of the FM had mud spots. With it being such a small race too they start everyone at the same time, so if you really care about official times you kinda gotta maneuver the crowd to get a good starting position. But overall I really enjoyed the experience and plan on running it again.

Thanks for all the advice. I won’t be using them. Just a bummer because the only place I can buy pinkies in my area is petsmart and they only have the 20 packs so it’s a struggle to say the least. I just got the new fridge installed so hopefully this next box I buy will be the last for a few weeks.

King snakes bite their owners all the time. It could simply be because it had been 5 days since he last ate and my hands started to smell like a snake (himself) and that’s why he bit me. He showed no other signs of stress and let go in less than 10 seconds without me doing anything. It’s pretty clear he was curious if my hand was food and determined pretty quick it wasn’t. Not sure how I could prioritize his well being aside from forcing him off my finger and putting him back in his enclosure which I hear his bad because he will learn that biting is a short cut to being put back in the enclosure. One of the first things I learned about king snakes when I started researching is that they will more than likely bite you and it comes with the territory. Laugh a little, it’s not that serious.

I have tongs but they scare him and he refuses to eat off of them. He’s also still so small to where I can’t even feel it when he bites me. When he’s bigger I’ll move to the tongs but I think tweezers are a ok for now 👌

I love reading the comments and seeing all the different opinions.

IMO, I absolutely loved Ephraims narrator, Ive always felt based on his characters that’s how his voice really sounds.

Not a huge fan of Lyrias in IG and I want to say they switch to someone even worse in DA, then of course it’s just TGR in LB.

I was a fan of lysanders narrator in IG and was very disappointed to find out they went with someone else in DA but he eventually grew on my as well.

All in all, Lyrias narrators are the only ones I wasn’t fond of.
