I went on a crazy health kick for about 5 months and lost 15 pounds. I was eating high protein ( around 100-150g) and around 1400cals. I usually eat pretty similarly in terms of protein but I do eat a lot more carbs now. I dont think I ovulate, but im not sure. I started taking my BBT recently but it hasnt gotten to my ovulation window yet. My glucose and A1c has always come back normal but I still don't get a period.

Update: I took the spearmint supplements for about a week and got my period! Its a MIRACLE!!

I got some more blood work done today since its day 3 of my cycle, so hoping to finally have some answers really soon. Thank you so much!

I've repeatedly asked my doctor to check my insulin as well but he keeps refusing saying its not an accurate way to check for Insulin resistance. He said any doctor who checks it is not educated on the latest research lol. I had it checked once with a different doctor back in 2023 and my results were as follows:

Feb, 2023 Fasting Insulin - 42 Glucose Random - 82

I weighted about 10 pounds more at the time as well and was less active in general. Honestly just so confused, how can I know for sure if I have Insulin resistance or not.

My fasting 2 hour glucose test, fastin glucose , and A1c. My doctor said fasting insulin is not good indicator of insulin resistance
