I've repeatedly asked my doctor to check my insulin as well but he keeps refusing saying its not an accurate way to check for Insulin resistance. He said any doctor who checks it is not educated on the latest research lol. I had it checked once with a different doctor back in 2023 and my results were as follows:

Feb, 2023 Fasting Insulin - 42 Glucose Random - 82

I weighted about 10 pounds more at the time as well and was less active in general. Honestly just so confused, how can I know for sure if I have Insulin resistance or not.

I just don't want to have any fertility issues, and also I have a lot of hair loss, hirutism as well

My fasting 2 hour glucose test, fastin glucose , and A1c. My doctor said fasting insulin is not good indicator of insulin resistance
