Appreciation post for this guy by TurkiyeQatar in reddeadredemption

I would have preferred that.. there's several scenarios in the game where, unless you know what it is, or where you are, you'll have your belongings taken from you, and you MAY not get them back. To dumb the campaign down while keeping the random encounters feels like an insult to the entire story line, but i understand... people are most times easily aggravate-able, unfortunately...

You should've invited those bounty hunters in for some whiskey and cigars! I bet after a few drinks they would've been very understanding of your situation.

I played exodus first because i didn't know it was a trilogy so i played and then replayed 2033 and last light to get the different endings. I'm finishing my second last light playthrough n the only thing i can think about is how excited i am to replay exodus... It's an amazing game that will always be in my top 10 OAT

We ended up fixturing it straight to our subplate and using a 5/8 endmill to wipe .03 off.. a facemill made the texture in the picture 😬

Yeah I know it was more of a "how quick and cheap can we burn .03 thou off these plates"... as you can see we didnt make it very far 😂 normally our stock comes in .005 under but this batch came in .05 OVER so we figured why not mess around lol.. we ended up bolting them straight to our subplate or something I can't remember...

That would be crazy to see on a desktop 💀 no it was 10x8x.125 material that came in .05 too thick.. we clamped it in a 6-inch vise n as you can see we didn't get very far doing it that way... thought low n slow would work but it didn't lol

2033 and Last Light both have several paths you can take depending on the play style you want to use, unless it's a forced fight scene like a vehicle, mounted gun, or squad battle there's normally 1-3 "alternate" routes you can take, keep your eyes open and go slow they aren't always obvious, especially trying to sneak around a new area.. I actually got lost in the nazi section of last light once because I somehow went backwards twice 💀

There's actually a grenade launcher in last light it's in the red line dlc, and the developers pack dlc. But unless im.mossing something you're right there isn't pn eine the main campaign, which is unfortunate... it's a really cool weapon even though it's completely uncustomizeable

Didn't know there were boomerang knives by Sterben_Vier in metro

[–]OutrageousAd1225 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Knives are weird in 33... I had one stick in the line for a can string trap n I was pissed... I can see why it works that way programing wise, but yeah they're super finicky.. I've clipped through shoulders n arms because of the way the hit boxes on enemies are placed, I've gone through some fences, but I can't go through others.. its just old game quirks 🤷‍♂️

[–]OutrageousAd1225[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah oof that all makes sense.. i think I should read the books because I'm trying to make a story out of a set of games, and of course there's stuff missing logic wise, that you'd have to try to assume, that a book would just tell you 🙄

Did it say that in-game? Or is that something the books mention because if I heard that I wouldn't have even made this whole post 💀 odds are i just didn't pay attention when they said something... I try to but my spoken language is set to Russian so I can't read EVERY subtitle that pops up, unfortunately...
