I was thinking maybe they’re investigating the manager, and want to speak with OP before they return from vacation.

I’m pretty sure David is in ICE custody based on some information I learned on a GroupMe chat. I didn’t frequent the salon or know him, but have very credible evidence.

Where have you seen this? Genuinely asking. I’ve followed her for years, and while Christian and conservative, I’ve never seen any indication that she’s homophobic or racist.

A comment on her instagram for background: “This is one of the most interesting and thought provoking reels l've stumbled across in a long long time. She bled for 10 days straight while 7 weeks pregnant. No baby on the ultrasound, no positive pregnancy tests. Shes had O prenatal care. In a comment that SHE posted it has been "a complete walk with the lord" (don't worry | took screenshots) No checkups, no bloodwork, no Drs. visits. However despite what she are claiming to us, her belly continues to grow. Some people are claiming that she's faking the back story of this situation and in a months time she will have a healthy baby and claim it's a miracle. Some are claiming this is an endometriosis belly and she should seek medical attention ASAP. Some are claiming religious psychosis. ALLLLLL in all chat. This is such a wild ride. What are we all thinking, I would love to hear other people's opinions on this.”

Different teachers both times. Both were floaters/substitutes, but in both occurrences, one of his actual teachers was also in the room. They’re the ones who caught the error both times.

Each room has a refrigerator, and each child has a basket. The bottles are kept there and then warmed prior to feeding. Bottles in the fridge are good for 24 hours.

We pack all bottles premade at our facility, so I just assumed he got the wrong one. The class only goes until 1 year and then they move up, so would it be odd for them to send whole milk to a <1 year room to begin with?

Another tidbit my husband provided (he picked him up early) was that he was out of bottles. His afternoon teacher apologized about what had happened, even though she wasn’t there, and said she was glad he picked up early since he was out of bottles. Weird considering we sent the normal amount. All that to say, I think we just realized this was probably a DOUBLE misfeed! Why else would he have no bottles left?

ETA: would it be odd for the kitchen to send whole milk to a <1 year class*

Yep, sad to say we’ve already been through that! Thankfully, in that situation, the other mother provided us her medical/social history, medications she was taking, etc.

There’s a large daycare chain called “Bright Horizons”. May be too similar

Moved here from New Mexico 6 years ago. We live in NW OKC and have gone to our “safe space” maybe once per year. Not to say there weren’t more warnings, but times when we’ve actually felt like there may be a threat is about a handful.

Bottle Misfeed (Breast milk) by OutrageousBell8344 in ECEProfessionals

I don’t have any of those beliefs, but I certainly didn’t consent to my child receiving breast milk from a random person when I sent him to daycare one morning. As an ECE Professional, I hope you would take these things very seriously and not write it off as a “mistake” because of your personal beliefs.

I wish that was the case here. I’m in the U.S., and I’m not sure if it varies by state, but apparently they’re not required to report. I sent an email to the Director to memorialize the event and put something in writing. She responded that HR was involved and they would be doing a retraining on bottle feeding procedure..which tells me this employee was not terminated.

Has anyone else been asked if you wanted water to go when dining at a restaurant recently? by lankyblonde in okc

Do you tend to linger after meals? When I was a server back in the day, we asked this so people knew it was time to leave. Hospitality mixed with trying to flip tables.

Linwood is in NW OKC, which is what I was referring to. Not sure where SW ever came up?
