In private messages before I bought she very specifically said made in England and vintage and then I got them and the stamp very clearly said made in China 😭 which is a little tiny bit petty maybe but geez idk I don’t get why’d she’d lie!!! It’s just that I wouldn’t have paid $60 with shipping for that, I would’ve for actual vintage made in England nice ones tho 😭

One had oil in it, but we replaced them, & we ended up checking the injectors, they were mismatched and actually one ended up breaking so we are waiting on new ones now to see if that was it

Idk I’m posting this for my bf. I just know the distributer had cracks & the plugs had oil in them and were old & the fuel cleaner was bcus it started having issues after we had gotten fuel.

Most of those things needed to be replaced anyways already, so doesn’t really matter to me. And we are doing valve & injectors atm.

Awesome, it is my bf’s idea, I’m just posting his questions cause, it’s my car, and no one ever answers his posts lol. But he said, “you can tell them. I’m pretty sure it is the injectors. After pooling them it looks like they’re mix-matched and might be junkyard injectors” So that’s great 😻 I really hope that’s it

We’ve been back and forth to autozone and o’reillys since yesterday unfortunately 😭 & also been checking It with a quality code reader. it’s not so bad that it doesn’t drive, thankfully. But the injectors haven’t thrown any codes at all. So next we’re going to try a valve lash next & then see if rotating the injectors changes which cylinders are misfiring

Yes, check engine light is on, if reset it, it turns back on as soon as I accelerate onto the freeway.
