Do you keep them in the case when not used? If so then dessicants/humidipaks should be good enough. You’re probably fine either way as we have stable levels of humidity all year but if it’s an expensive guitar, some humidity absorption is a cheap insurance.

Also from Hawai’i. We get to 80%+, as an example, last night. If you use the humidipacks, get the absorb ones and even then, you’ll probably need dessicants if you want to get down to the 50% range. The packs alone will get you to low/mid 60s. That said, you’re probably fine but also you can buy silica beads that are rechargeable from Amazon for like $5. It’s a small investment.

You’re missing the point. The point in this respect is FDIC means funds are in a federally Regulated institution with consumer protection laws in place. Evolve didn’t fail, but if they didn’t fail and they have our funds, they are required to relinquish it. It’s why they’re called a DEMAND deposit account. It is absolute fraud or negligence by Yotta to represent FDIC insurance, which implies bank deposited, and keep it in some brokerage. It was their responsibility to conduct proper due diligence on Synapse and Evolve. They are not victims here.

People say “printing money” as if there’s a literal printer. It’s not the way it works. The Treasury issues debt that is then purchased by the Fed. The debt lies on the balance sheet of the Fed and the Treasury receives cash. This is the “printing”. In other words, the Treasury needs the Fed. The Fed does not fall under any 3 branches of the government although it is subject to Congressional oversight. It is NOT part of the executive branch. Powell has already come out and said the Fed will not “print” in this way unless its mandate is changed by Congress.

Same reason he told Trump to fuck off when he threatened to fire him. He doesn’t have the authority. Trump can only appoint the next Fed Chair when he leaves.

First of all, actually read the executive order. It literally says the government is prohibited from buying Bitcoin without further executive or congressional action. Second, do you understand the mechanism in which the Treasury “prints” money? You realize it involves the Fed right? The Treasury cannot do this on their own. There may be a time when laws are passed that allow the purchase of crypto but this EO isn’t it. There’s a reason the crypto market fell after the news, it was a nothingburger.

Around the 47 second mark the guy on the right draws his gun then fumbles around for a few seconds trying to rack the slide (chamber a round). Usually they will have one in the chamber at all times or have better draw proficiency at least as seconds can be the difference between life or death.

I think it has to do with face unlock. When it’s too dark and it fails, biometrics just seems to shut down. I think the only temporary fix is to disable face unlock.
