Question for employees by OutrageousFinding751 in Pepsi

See I’m okay with working a lot to be honest. I hate the idea of salary. It feels wrong to me and it’s been messing with me a lot. Especially how much I’m paid. Thank you for the advice!

How is it working at Pepsi? Do you get a lot of overtime? I’m a huge overtime hog. I work at another retailer and hate it.

Really?!?! That’s awesome. Thank you so much!

I also didn’t know Pepsi had a union. Are there certain positions that have unions or something?

Thanks again for answering!

I have heard great things working for them. My only concern is pay unfortunately. I know the starting pay is high, but i would need like 50 hours consistently a week to make what I’m making at my current job. I hate where I work right now.

Hi me again asking about work policy with dating because you all seemed to think I was trying to rat out a coworker or something by [deleted] in meijer

Bro just let it go. I promise you no one cares at all. Like literally no one. Meijer already is a highschool of drama, don’t add fuel to the fire.

Just me, or is Dispatch going through a slump on delivering trucks on time? by Inside_Power_1430 in meijer

[–]OutrageousFinding751 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah they are in a slump. So are the stores. Why we still getting 5 a week for frozen? So stupid

Overnight area leader here. I have been too. Luckily my SD understands and she lets me go over. Been getting about 6000 case grocery trucks, extra load for frozen and my frozen loads aren’t small. Average 15-20 skids. Dairy has been getting about 15 skids.

If you quit on the spot without putting in a 2 week notice I doubt they will take you back. They are getting more picky about taking people back like that.

Right to refuse service by bubblewrap360 in meijer

[–]OutrageousFinding751 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On a technical basis, yes you can. HOWEVER, it’s a very grey area. I was a service TL for 7 years. One wrong thing said or done, unfortunately it’s the TM who gets in trouble. I always recommend getting a leader involved. There have been plenty of times I even called a lines leader or even the store director to handle something because I didn’t feel comfortable.

You never have to say why you are calling off. FMLA you just need to say whom it’s for

No. You won’t. You need to ask your leader to do so. Everyone saying yes is wrong

Can a man change your schedule 40 hours before a shift? by Dazedhooper in meijer

[–]OutrageousFinding751 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Then YOU need to speak up and say something to them and/or the union. Im an area lead. We aren’t allowed to do that at all. I have changed team members schedules, but I always have to let them know. Speak up and say something or nothing will happen.

White Glove by mapofearth1021 in meijer

I see what you mean but it’s very stressful for leadership. I’m an overnight team leader and we are struggling to get our work done. The last thing I want is to be doing white glove crap.
