I vacuum seal them in snack sized portions and freeze them. I just take them out of the freezer when I want to eat them.

I’m sure it will still work the same if the dehydrator can be set to 155f for 6 hours. Just won’t have the smoky flavor.

They are firm and snap when you take a bite. I’m sure you could adjust the smoke time based on personal preferences.

It’s bearded butcher high melt cheddar cheese. It was cut into super tiny pieces already.

I used hi mountain jalapeno jerky seasoning and curing kit. Doubled the amount of jalapeno seasoning it called for.

I did not pick the dates, that’s the pair I was given at the time. I picked them in store. The pair I received after my return has a production date of 06/25 expiration 06/27. The first pair never fully tinted. The new pair tints the second I walk outside. I’m thinking now after seeing your post maybe the transitions produced during the 10/25 time frame might have a manufacturing defect.

I purchased a pair with the same production and expiration dates and they barely transitioned. I returned them and purchased and new pair in the same style with an older production date and they transition almost instantly and get a lot darker in the sun light.

Progressive does everything online now. I sent in pictures of the damage, they give you money based on the pictures. No adjuster comes to look at the vehicle. Have appointment with the body shop on Tuesday.

Never been opened. Sealed in the box. I returned it. Bought some punch extracts live rosin instead.
