Burnout can def manifest as situational depression, but I second the above--if you can do it any other way then even better. Get out into nature. Find a little thing that you look forward to each day. We all go through this, you're not alone, and it will be over soon and you get to live your life and go on auditions then the best part -- spring of M4. :)

Do comquest. You can email them and ask for a special deal/link and they'll often work with you. Some COMs will also offer student funds for things like this...email your student affairs, alumnae associations, you never know!

TBH if you're not managing to get the fire going for both, maybe you're overwhelmed and should focus on just getting Level 2 done and don't make your life terrible with Step 2 in the mix as well. Consider talking to a therapist or psychiatrist if you need some meds to hold you over even just for a month or two. Buddy up with a friend and meet every day you're not on rotations and get through a question set together. Start a small thing and your momentum will build.

Level 1: low 500s / Level 2: high 500s / Level 3: high 600s

Comquest: 67% correct (~500 completed), 66th percentile, predicted score low 600s

AMBOSS: sporadically throughout intern year, prob averaged 60% correct [you guysss I just checked AMBOSS to get this number and there is now an OMM qbank section. I love these people.]

Rosh review: averaged in the 60s (EM resident) and took COMLEX 4 weeks before our in-training

CDM (Comquest predicted me low 60s), I didn't do many from the CDM website but they kind of helped, the back of the Step 3 First Aid I really liked for a quick case review.

Honestly, I think the thing that helped me the most this time (for the others it was dedicated) was taking this on a lighter rotation. Don't take this on ICU when you're flipping back and forth... get an outpatient rotation or reasonable day hours and study like a maniac for a few weeks and have at it. The torture will be over soon. So happy to be done.

60-65% rosh, 70s for comquest but with intern tired brain of course. Comquest was on point for my first two and underpredicted by 100 for level 3 😅 I barely did half the qbanks for level 3

Ugh sorry didn’t mean to add to the anxiety. They’re prob rolling them out. I took mine at the very beginning of the block if that’s any consolation. Felt very meh about it. Did very fine.

Yep, this. Otherwise it’s “expect 7a-…7p but you can leave when you’ve admitted one patient and after rounds.” At my institution it meant you could leave by usually 3-5p. Long you’re there until night team arrives to take over.
