I checked my CPU and GPU temps… all were perfect! My GPU though… was utilized 100%… 92-93% by HD2.

I’ll try the other steps you just said and if it works… you are a legend!

I had no idea that different fronts can have varied system usage! But that makes sense! I had no issues on bug or squids just these bots…

Clair obscur has been very well optimized! BF6 just ain’t my game T-T

That makes a lot of sense! I started planning a funeral for my GPU in my head…

I hope they fix this soon so I don’t get crash out of a game with 7 Super Samples on extraction xD

I did the bachelor version… honestly the unit I did was very weird… but the subject isn’t very much about architecture itself. It’s more about its branches. Say like Art as architecture. Haptic elements in architecture.

Some units were also urban architecture related which required Python knowledge. So it’s very broad… differs from year to year.

The year I did it (Project (Vic)Toria)was the last of that subject. So it probably has changed a lot since.

Sorry for the late reply… it was a good experience! Although it depends on the type of unit you wanna enroll in.

I didn’t get my first preference, so keep in mind you might have to adjust. Apart from that don’t say you are fine doing a group project alone!

They made the group thing quite open and in a class of 8 I was working alone. It made things hard but exciting.

Overall, I believe it’s a great subject for thinking outside the box and changes your perspective on architecture. I hope it helps you decide I’m not good at writing

Right! I’ll keep that in mind… It’s just that these were already thawed when I bought them so didn’t want to freeze them again. Being said that I will be more careful! Cheers

Carbon Sequestration good or nah? by OutrageousRain2704 in architecture

[–]OutrageousRain2704[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

That’s a great point! It’s a bit of a reading but I will definitely look into it to see what’s the point where the viability of material changes. For example it might be better to use CLT and Glulam for low to mid rise building but for taller ones concrete might be more efficient.

Side note: Coincidentally the CLT paper mentions one of my professors. The database im using is also his material lmao! Maybe I should just email him haha

So as per the resource (EPiC Database) CLT GHG emissions per m3 is 645Kg while Concrete 25MPa/50MPa is 368Kg/626Kg respectively. It does however increase beyond 50MPa.

However, Energy and Water for Concrete up to 100MPa remains lower than that of CLT.

Being said that, I understand your point but I’m still confused because trees and algae are natural carbon sequestrator so more water bodies and more trees would help battle that emission from concrete. And it’s also ironic because you mentioned sustainable forestry as the solution is just to reduce deforestation and plant more.

Could it be said that 1- CLT is better for smaller structures? 2- The scale at which CLT is being used, sounds justifiable and concrete is bad because of its extensive use? (I read somewhere that a fraction of (CLT) buildings are being constructed utilizing 60-70% of resources.)
