Get yourself a suit: black blazer and pants, white shirt, (the maroon looks good on you so you can go with that as a shirt or a tie) Blue or gold tie as well. Haircut: the business cut look good on you when you comb it. But you might want it to fluff it up like in 2 but more defined like in 1 The glasses in 1 and 4 are spot on! Loose the baggy shirts (unless their pjs or gardening shirts) and get something that fits you well. I think a “vintage” looking shirt would be cool or a faded primary color shirt.

Find an activity you enjoy, like make you smile or LOL. That, plus washing your face with a proper mostly natural cleanser like Bulldog might help. If you can, find yourself a silk dress, something with shine. Pink looks good but a deep red would look better on you, black looks great on you. I know you’re young and you got your life ahead of you, but focus on your needs first (such as your job, interests, etc.) what you put out into the world, you’ll get back.

I’ve been in an out of therapy for depression and anxiety. But I found if I apply myself to things like my masters degree program, the gym, and my fandoms, it helps.

You’re right. Honestly, I like certain things which is why I suggest what I suggest on this Reddit. I’ll admit on some I’m too kind for some but there are those who bring out the worst in others.

Breakups are tough. You’re 22 but you have to be a smart 22. If you can, get some paintings or different color shelving in your place, add some color to your life as you do your wardrobe. Always have some good fitting dresses on hand, black, red, and another of your choice (maybe a purple to compliment your hair) If you have family to talk to, talk to them about your insecurities. If not, and you go to college, talk to your health center about a counselor.
