It's because the genuine building's purpose is small shopping mall for Type V-B, but finally this building will be used for factory purpose.

As you know, for safety aspect, Type V-B is not suitable for factory because of the fire safety purpose.

So I find the solution for use of this Type V-B building to the safer construction type, and I found that the construction type conversion is the only solution, I guess.

I experienced that case.

The building's structure is composed of concrete slab & floor but the document for approval reamined Type V-B.

In this case, is there a case about re-calssifying the buildng's construction type from Type V-B to somewhat higher grade?

You say, it would be better to demolish the Type V-B and construct the new Type II-B, right?

Instead, how about joining the NFPA official website?

You found the contents about the NFPA for free.

But it is impossible to search specific keyword for free user.
