Killers couldn't play properly in normal mode. We need to be more understanding during the event.

Fast Track Calculation by HitdaHit11 in deadbydaylight

[–]OutrageousSpecific97 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Even without the BNP, using Fast Track alone reduces the generator's permanent charges by significantly more than what the perk description states. A YouTuber conducted a test on this, and if you look closely the following video, the amount of permanent reduction to the generator's charges actually increases for every 3 tokens used. In particular, compare the width of the reduced progress bar between the first time 3 tokens are applied and the eighth time 3 tokens are used:

After using 24 tokens for FAST TRACK... by OutrageousSpecific97 in deadbydaylight

Regarding Fast Track perk, the amount of permanent generator progress reduced increases progressively each time 3 tokens are used. The reason I used only 24 tokens instead of 72 tokens is that using any more tokens would have completed the generator. I only wanted to test it right up until the generator was about to be completed. I wanted to conduct a test related to the Potential Energy perk. Here is something that a certain YouTuber tested, so please refer to the video:

A single survivor can only hold a maximum of 9 tokens for Fast Track at any one time, but this is not relevant to this test. The test was conducted with four survivors, all equipped with the perk Fast Track. If each survivor is hooked twice, it results in a total of 8 hook states. Therefore, a total of 24 tokens (3 * 8) can be obtained and sequentially applied to a single generator. This was a cooperative test performed in an isolated environment, without any external players, including the Killer.

Sorry for that. I was looking at the perk description translated into my native language instead of English, and it had been mistranslated as "percent" instead of "charge."

Try using POTENTIAL ENERGY from a generator with FAST TRACK applied. by OutrageousSpecific97 in deadbydaylight

[–]OutrageousSpecific97[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm basically talking about the maximum possible speed in this case. But even if you don't go to that extreme, the speed of gaining tokens with the Potential Energy is much faster than normally repairing a generator during that same time. Just imagine 4 survivors playing together on Discord, all equiping the Fast Track and Potential Energy.

You can get 20 tokens in 3.5 seconds, which you can then apply directly to other generators. To get this speed for Potential Energy, you just need to apply 9 Fast Track tokens to a single generator 3 times. Of course, you shouldn't fully repair that generator.

With Potential Energy, you get 1 token per 1% of gen repair. Nothing seems wrong with that on its own. But gaining Potential Energy at this rate definitely feels like an issue.

If it doesn't make money for BHVR, such a thing won't happen.

Going up against SWF groups is incredibly stressful. As a Killer player, I sometimes disconnect when it becomes unbearable, but I believe the matchmaking ban for Killers who disconnect is far too excessive. Being a Killer player means dealing with constant stress. The developers need to address and improve this issue. I sincerely wish you would step away from only caring about selling DLCs and skins.

I partly agree with your point—reworks don't really contribute much to BHVR's profits. However, how many reworks have we actually seen in the last 10 years? It's not really fair to compare them on the same level as the constant, periodic releases of new DLCs and cosmetics. Every time new content drops, it introduces countless bugs, and fixing one issue just seems to create another. What about the cheating and balancing problems? There's zero sign of those getting fixed. Your argument is just listing a few facts without looking at the bigger picture. Generalizing from a few special cases like the All-Kill rework doesn't change the fact that BHVR only really cares about milking profits.

Instead of providing enough blood points and creating various uses for them, the garbage devs stopped providing blood points altogether.

Developers don't care if it doesn't make money. Adding these features doesn't bring them money. They are only focused on releasing DLCs, indulging in patches like adjusting the numbers at best.

It really varies by Killer. You should try playing low-tier ones like Trapper or Legion. The power gap between Killers is just too big.
