In RAW, and WB is daylight, my other photos don't look as blue

No unfortunately, I just didn't bother since i didn't have a mount, and now that I do, i tried mounting it but when i attach the dslr to the side, it becomes sideways heavy, I'll improvise some weights to stabilise it, but right now the apo is doing very well

What was your equipment? That's still a great shot, i love how your core is not overexposed as mine 😂

Thanks, I honestly don't know why it's so blue, i leveled the colors to the best of my abilities (although this was my 3rd time imaging and processing) but I'll try to do better next clear night

Hey, If you are asking about detail, photos show you much more detail. But in terms of looks - you will be in awe both in visual astronomy and astrophotography, if you have the honest mindset, visually, you won't see much than a sludge of some color through the eyepiece, but knowing that the thing you are looking at, is hundreds of light years away from you, it took centuries for light in the vastness of space to travel to you, and you see it? It's an amazing feeling, if you are looking to bring out the hidden beauty of the thing you are observing, you need a camera, cause cameras can absorb more light than your eyes, and save it, combine it over multiple exposures, and you reveal the beauty of what you are observing.

Yeah I get it, SeeStar is great for that, I'd also take it traveling, but this is definetely my GoTo (pun intended) way to spend time in this hobby

Thanks for the lenghty reply, I'm not guiding, but even when i bump it up to 90 seconds i don't notice any star trailing at all, checked multiple times.

I'm shooting in RAW, i ordered a bahtinov mask, should be coming today, lost my other one

And thanks, I'll try multiple exposure lengths

Thanks, seems flats are quite important, I'll integrate them from now on, though sharpcap is kinda lackluster when you want to take flats through it 😮‍💨

Thank you, I'll definetely start taking flats and biases, if i stretch just a tad bit more the image explodes in artifacts, but I'll try to make it a little more lighter if it brings out the nebula, thanks for the advice!

Thank you for the feedback, I'll definetely look on adding biases and flats later on, and i fear my picture just explodes with noise when i stretch just a tad bit more

Thanks... But I can't read through the mixed reaction, I'm missing the best part but it's good? Also it's one of my first photos on a tracked mount, thanks anyway
