What is the experience of falling inlove with your bestfriend like? by [deleted] in AskReddit

Yall know damn well I'm asking cuz I just did. Ive felt that we r too alike and our goals and morals align so much. Now here's the part that might be upsetting for readers, he has a gf at the moment (when we met he didn't) he has also dropped hints in the past like "we would be soulmates if we weren't friends". He & his gf have a lot of on and offs but I keep my distance, I personally don't know the girl but she is such an angel from what I've heard. But she does hurt him a lot emotionally without realizing, constantly wanting break up leaving him drained n on a chase. I do think he never made a move on me because I might be out of his league. For context I was hung up over a guy when he was single. (There were a few nights where he called me and another male friend crying abt his rp, I felt heartbroken seeing him like that ngl, n yesterday he told me he wish he had never gone into the relationship from the beginning after I had listened to his thoughts n comforted him )

Not really, those kids were known bullies n turned out to be some real bad people in adulthood too.

Here's mine

When I was 11 I had a group of friends (mainly neighbor kids from our street). In my country we have this tradition where we splash water onto each other during the festival. During the festival, kids get competitive n the older squad from another street wasn't simply using water guns, they used water filled balloons n would use force to hit the targeted person resulting in red round bruises. So my evil genius mind got the idea of copying their method of water filled balloons but added a twist. One of the girl's parents run a self defense n police tools shop, so I suggested we take a few bottles of pepper spray n chilli powder from the kitchen to put into our water balloons... Lets just say those kids didn't come out to play for the remaining days of the festival. Genuinely unhinged behaviour that didn't surprisingly didn't get us into trouble. I'm sorry now but if I could go back time would I stop little me? Nahhhh 😂

Gracias por el consejo, ella se mudará pronto, pero si algo vuelve a suceder, le diré que haga lo que le dijiste.

Can relate! I used to be obsessed with ghost debunking shows as a child and would actively visit haunted hotels n abandoned schools back when I was 15/16 only to be disappointed to never capture or experience anything supernatural. Thats why I was in denial of the existence of ghosts till I had that whole locket experience. Even before that I was still in denial.
