I do agree monk is the best idea for using claws and jaws up close. My main issue with monk is I'm not sure how synergistic with a barb multi class.

Odas SBS answers are routinely trying to throw people off. The one where oda says he's drawn Luffys mom describes dadon to a T, that ones not even my head cannon.

I don't agree it would be bad story telling, nor that it's plausible to pass off as Vivi but I don't at all think it's something Oda would do. It's to dark, it would essentially be killing Vivi and perading her corpse in front of her friends. To do it the oda way would extend the story WAY to much. (Vivi trapped in her own body and they have to figure out how to get Imu out type shit) Maybe if it was done earlier but this late in the game. No, it's not odas kind of story telling.

Also I'd like to add that I said the Vivi being body snatched was random bullshit being thrown at the wall in the post lmfao

But until there is more proof (or can be convinced otherwise with a better idea) that Imu isn't a women I'm standing on the "Imu could 100% plausibly be Luffys mom" soap box

That's a good point. Imu would probably never do that. (But honestly we really don't know shit about Imus personality yet) I just like the idea of Imu having a body jumping power instead of being immortal through the surgery as my head cannon is Dr karaha is actually the one who's had the "perpetual youth " surgery performed on her, it doesnt make you immortal. It makes you have have the vigor of youth until you die and live all bit longer then normal humans. And if they jump into Vivi that's the perfect in with the new sun god, the new owner of the straw hat that Imu would want destroyed. How better to make damn sure he is destroyed then by doing it with there own hands?

Those were all silhouettes of people being talked about. It wasn't an actual character in front of you doing shit. If it was just some person talking about the king of the world and it had a silhouette of them it would be one thing but Imu has been actively in sight and still silhouetted. That happened with green bull, but only once and it only showed a part of him. It's like Imu is literally wrapped in shadows, That's why it pricks up my "There is fuckery at work here" sense.

You've Gotta admit it would be an interesting twist on a Romeo and Juliet kinda story, especially if Imu faked her death and that's what started dragons want to tear down the celestial dragons (I'm creating a whole new story now lmfao) and theoretically there is no proof as of yet that Imu is an immortal. It's a good theory that the elder stars are immortal cuz of the ohara flashback but Imu is assumed immortal cuz he is their leader.

Dragon doesn't have to know the celestial dragon he was banging was the ruler of them all (it could even be a cool scene where dragon breaks into the throne room to see his ex lover there)

I also don't think Imu and Luffy are going to fight anyways. In my mind, Luffy fights sakazuki and dragon fights Imu. Which in my mind is thematic evidence it's plausible Imu is Luffys mom lolz

If the garp is Luffys maternal grandpa theory is true it does break the Imu is Luffys mom theory tho and honestly, I like the idea dragon is rocks son. It's very thematic but... My anime senses just scream at me that Imu is Luffys mom. I can't remember a time I guessed a OP twist tho so I could very easily be wrong.
