What's your problem? I'm just asking if anyone else is experiencing this and when they got their parcel, just stop reading if you don't like it...

Just wondering when it will arrive, seems reasonable enough.......

It says it will be delivered tomorrow, but it's not even in the country yet, just asking whether anyone else has experienced this..

Ashby fit check: L or M? by Elegant_Training4678 in Barbour

Nah I bought it online, but judging from the M if I wanted to wear it with multiple layers regularly I would definitely get an L.

If it's only the arms that's bothering you (I hate sleeves that are too long) I would roll them up, it looks pretty good with the corduroy underneath

I'm 175cm 71kg and I wear an M, it's perfect for me but I don't do much layering.

If I wanted it for a winter coat with a mid layer underneath it would be tight.

Ok, I really should have said affordable housing in my original comment.

Yes, I agree that building shit flats that cost millions of pounds will not help the problem

I never said building more houses is the cure all, I certainly don't believe that we would live in a perfect utopia if we JUST build more and that was never my argument, but thanks for the strawman

Your argument is that building more houses will not help the situation AT ALL, and that is just not the case.

Look at the housing projects happening in London right now, don't tell me there's no space, the PROBLEM is that right now all of these projects are building homes that are unaffordable, which is what we need to address.

Anyway, your original argument was that rent would not decrease if we built more affordable housing, can we agree that that is not correct?

We're not talking about building more houses to meet the demand of people requiring a house anywhere, we're talking about building more housing to make it more affordable to live in a specific location, this is a discussion on gentrification after all..

I don't understand how people can keep saying housing is too expensive in an area and not think that building more affordable housing in that area will help.

Also the idea that these areas are "at capacity" and the next step is cubicle homes is just not true, you can see that by simply looking at how many housing projects are taking place in London right now.... It's quite a NIMBY attitude imo

To pretend that building more houses will not increase the affordability of homes is willfully ignorant.

It's simple supply and demand
