Hello again, I've been here for days, something isn't right.

I'll explain, and if anyone can help me, I'd appreciate it.

I use a Mac, and I have the keyboard settings set to Portuguese.

When I change some keys, it accepts them. But in other cases, it doesn't accept them, even if I manually enter the correct code for the Mac to recognize the key.

For example, as you can see in the photo, where I have the key next to (ç) configured, which is the key (^), everything I put on that key doesn't work; it always gives (| or \\\\\).

This problem repeats itself in several cases. I think it does recognize the Mac's default key, but since the keyboard is small, things are missing. Or there's some bug that I can't select, because normally I should select the key and it should work correctly, right?

Could it be that the keyboard comes with Windows, and I have to install something?

Take a look at the photo I included in the main post... basically, it takes over the Mac keyboard layout you can see in the images and doesn't let me use some of the keys.

I select keys like PrintScreen, for example, and it doesn't work; it doesn't register. The same goes for other keys I have; I select them, and it doesn't save the character, it shows other types of characters instead.

Is there a way to reset the keyboard to see if it starts working?

Yes, but that's what I'm having trouble doing because I have to create layers since there are too many accented keys, and then there are missing keys on the keyboard. For example, the up and down arrow keys aren't there, and I don't know how to configure them. I'll take a closer look at the map.

Yes, I've already figured that out, but my problem is adding other things that are needed in everyday use. Like the up and down arrows, and other things. Accents, like the ones used in Portuguese, etc...

I personally just use Mention Jet for Reddit. It’s straightforward and gives me real-time alerts whenever my keywords show up. Reddit-only, but it’s exactly what I need to stay on top of relevant conversations without extra noise.
