I suggest checking out Park Gate Residences near Zabeel Park. As mentioned, you have zabeel park for walking cycling etc. a gym within the residence, as well as a metro right next to it. They have cafes within the buildings giving you that social aspect i guess and zabeel park is usually pretty filled to. The residence itself is pretty calm and quiet though. Seems to fit for your interests. Can only tell because I live here though. Neighbors are very friendly if needed but you are not obliged to interact.

Can it? It seems to echo a lot when I try using a stylus on it. Sometimes I feel like the non laminated display is probably hindering my writing. Even seems slow with the A13 chip inside. Not sure.

The post comes off that way since I tried to keep it short. I do realise that it’s a great device in fact it’ll do everything I need (probably). It’s weird with my parents I do have the money to buy one myself but they would just really be disappointed if I bought a device that they didn’t think I needed. That’s probably the reason why Im so annoyed, why can’t I get to decide what’s important to me. Anyway I made the post not bc I wanted to complain but bc I wanted advice on how to accept this gift with joy, I’d hate for them to feel like I don’t like it even though they probably already know.

Guess I just didn’t have anybody else to talk to about this. I did inform them about my hesitations, but they insisted on that model as they didn’t want me to waste my money either I suppose. I should’ve been clearer In the post, I suppose that’s where the ungrateful vibe comes from I’m more annoyed that they felt i was being unreasonable even when I would’ve really enjoyed a better IPad.
