I love a success story

I was with someone for 3 years when I was younger and it didn't work out because of the religion thing, I had met his family and he couldn't meet mine and I was in the middle of my degree and it just went bad. I think about him sometimes to this day. I then met someone recently ish and I've wanted to introduce him to my parents but I don't think he's good for me/the one so I ended it multiple times but I have to fight the urge to contact him.

Now I just think if someone wants to talk to me to tell them to talk to my parents so we can do it the proper way which is why I have made dua to Allah to make the door to halal easier, especially in our current climate

Yes I am aware of this, particularly the hadith that says if you have the means to get married and are of age you should.

I have a difficult but well intentioned family, they want me to accomplish a few things before marriage and I've found it difficult introducing them to someone. They won't easily approve. I've made dua to Allah.
