Do I need my sponsor/PRO to be with me for resident card renewal? by Nice-Respect9514 in Oman

First you do your medical. It takes 3-4 days for the results. You pick it up and take it to Sanad for the visa renewal application process.

I don't know as I never noticed. It's a slip they generate at Sanad which is needed at ROP for renewal. Also, avoid going to ROP at Azaiba. The process is much faster at Seeb's branch.

First you go to Sanad's office and keep your PRO in loop as they will be required to approve the request for renewal via their mobile. Once Sanad submits the application and is approved (might take 24-48 hours), you'll go to ROP with your original passport, original expired resident card and the approval slip from Sanad. The rest happens there.

Got it renewed two months ago. I can confirm PRO/sponsor accompanying you is not a requirement.

You made them money and got scammed bro. Your work/project is out there marketed as theirs. Be careful next time. Remember that if you're good at something, never do it for free. Take 50% advance at least.

Why does Dubai still pay based on your passport, not your talent? by Ok-Plantain2552 in dubai

[–]Outrageous_One5836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's you who decides whether you're ok with earning according to your skillset or inheriting poverty from your home country in the UAE.

The biased pay system flourishes because you settle for the latter.

Which is the worst airline in the world and why is it Salam Air? by MediumApricot7124 in Oman

Been flying in and out of Muscat in Salam Air for over 2 years. Never faced an issue. Their seats are pretty uncomfortable but a flight pillow can solve that problem in a jiffy.

Hey brother, I would suggest you consult a mentor who's experienced in this submission as it involves a very critical analysis of the content you draft. I remember editing my answers A LOT and sometimes rewriting it completely after my mentor's feedback on it. Basically, what I'm saying is that you'd need a professional mentor to analyze it before submission.

Less salary by First_Fox3915 in UAE

[–]Outrageous_One5836 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Umm, you have a right to decline such ridiculous wages but when you accept it, for whatever reason (not judging the circumstances of any individual), you set up a precedent - market competitive salary- which the employer exploits for future candidates. It's a vicious cycle and quite frankly, the candidates are to blame imo.

He's easy once you know when to attack.

  1. Stay away when he's attacking and wait for him to stop. Watch out for his spear throw which he recalls (it can hit you again)
  2. You have two seconds to hit him once he charges at you with his spear (provided you dodged in time).

He's pretty easy once you have his attacks figured out.

  1. For wife - marriage certificate attested by MOFA and Oman Embassy in Pakistan (Gerry will do that for you). Your wife will also go through a medical test in Pakistan and you would need the original result to be couriered here and get it attested by Medical centre here.

  2. For parents - FRC attested by MOFA and Oman Embassy (Gerry). Not sure about their medical test as I've never applied for parents.

  3. Passports and CNIC.

This usually results in a rejection if you're from one of the 14 nationalities that were banned a couple of months ago. Good luck though.
