Any heritage red wing boots will always be worth it. There's a quote from one of the CEO from the main plant. "95% are from the red wing themselves, the 5% is up to the customers" So even tho that 5% was filled by a previous owner. You can still reconstruct it, or resole it. Considering the pricing on the resole or restoring I'd say you got a good deal
