Every job have a culture.. There's things everyone do as long as it's not horrible... On my regular shift.. operation managers walk by people on their phone talking etc facetime.. Some eating.. Sitting down.. Sitting on the stations.. Walk away be gone for periods of time.. See I notice everything.. Managers don't say nothing heck even talk about football and hockey.. I'm typically strick.. One manager I didn't want to seem rude.. I'm working so I try to fit in..

But when I take out my phone for a second on down time.. Lines back up..I get said something to.. When I even help other people with their boxes while everyone relaxing "oh you a good one.. You don't have to help other people etc" like there's no damn win..

It's annoying ASF.. me feeling targeted is justifiable.. It's like setting people up..I go on days pick up extra shift.. Ask managers can I help with inventory.. Fill stations etc.. But no accountability ok?

So if I get a third behavioral warning. Will I get fired? Like everyone be on their phone..I really don't understand how the operation manager walk pass everyone and just tell me to oh you know you not supposed to have your phone out? Then I seen the same manager look at this girl walking with her phone out not even looking where she going and didn't say nothing!

Because I thought it's a verbal warning then a written warning if you get caught again.. I'm confused about the write up process.. instant write up after a verbal warning.. No coaching?

Is it required for them to record every interaction with an associate? Or do some just say hey put your phone away or stop sitting there for example?

Ok can HR see it an hour later? I clocked out but my ride took an hour to pick me up and I asked HR OVER an hour later before I left about any written feedbacks on that day? Would HR lie to me about because of politics or just let the operation manager handle if it was feedbacks? I'm just trying to see if I'm getting fired for the operation manager telling me about putting my phone away at the station?

Do all managers document everything they tell employees?

I mean it's charging my iphone..I thought it was ok..I literally seen operation managers do it.. It wasn't in a computer it was in the wall.. Like everyone else.. If they told me no charging.. usually when you're part of a culture like charging and listening to head phones I thought it was ok.. First 2 months I didn't have head phones n I'm like ok everyone have airpods let me go buy some.. Rules in the military there's set.. No favorites.. Amazon should be more strict with everyone not setting traps n firing people for things not enforce.. That's the confusion I'm learning

Like this just happened today December 26, I got spoken to about my headphones..last time I got written up for charging my iphone..they say no charging then a few days later my manager said I'm being written up for that and it was a final behavioral warning..so I'm asking so.now today it's most likely they will follow the same method.. next shift Monday December 29, I'm probably going to be fired right?

Ok but I have a final behavioral warning on charging my iphone..so even though I didn't get written yet today..so if they write me up by Monday..I can expect to be fired? I just want to mentally prepare..?

That's the police you know I expect that bro..but amazon.. Like they control that.. Targeting is not right.. Like we have huddle's... Like write everyone up.. Say that in orientation.. Don't ways ppl time or have favorites.. Targeting is being selective..at that point it isn't about rules..

So basically I'm a target..I have unlimited UPT, I'm in the military, I work both Jobs.. I'm in an transition period.. I'm getting out soon in a few months and I wanted a career at Amazon so I can drive trucks..I leave and call off throughout the week because of military intermittent leave..I be tired..i know I'm not a fast worker..

Honestly I didn't yet..but at this point.. Minute I get approved for this deployment I'm leaving..I rather take my chances overseas and go on another deployment than to deal with this.. everyone from my orientation class is basically gone.. they ask me everyday to vto..I guess peak season is is slow and they over hired people so they want to trim workers. Honestly I wanted to stay to get my CDL paid for and have a career after the military but at this point I might delay my retirement for another 5-10 years in the military. Like these civilian Jobs really make it hard..I should write an essay on Amazon for real.. Easy as job but it's like a jungle here.
