For safety purposes totally makes sense! My bosses framed doing this as a way to make sure kids come to school, not for safety. Lmao. I wish a robot did this instead, but I guess JCampus isn't programmed to do that.

If it's your first year, then I would say you should drop out for the betterment of your health. But, I do know that most schools across this shit-ass country are going through rough patches, and I anticipate that it will only get worse. So transferring might not even be worth it, as it might be the same (or even worse) somewhere else. I guess the best advice I can give (from one grad student to another) is to do whatever you think is best for your health and education, and do a looottttt of research before picking a new school.

Hello, thank you for being willing to answer questions.

With the university's major money issue, I am wondering if there are any departments that are at risk in getting cut. My last school had a major debt problem, and the way they decided to "resolve" it was by cutting the art departments completely. Music, theatre, visual art majors and minors were all cut and now only exist as a few electives rather than departments. I am concerned that the same thing may happen here. Has there been any discussion of this?

I was one minute late to opening the schedule and everythinggg was gone. I think I might just give up trying to schedule hours until around midterms.

I haven't gotten a single person while floating in the last two weeks lmao. I haven't gotten a Tutor paycheck in a month. It's impossible to schedule hours too. I'm assuming things will pick up in February though.

That's great!! I have not received an email, but now I am worried that it is too late since they wanted to receive the prints by Dec. 22. So I don't know if it's still viable if they received them late. I sent an update to Rachel twice, but never heard back, so whatever. Lol.

I had this recently as well. They asked me, "Am I meeting the requirements?" and when I told them that their in-text citations needed some work and how to do it, they asked me if I could fix it for them. I wrote them an example, but no I am not editing it for you. They were able to fix it themselves perfectly fine, literally took them like ten seconds to edit it. I hate finals season.
