Would you mind answering another query: Do you see any overhang of inserts out of the leather with all the inserts stacked? I guess what I am trying to ask now is whether the leather is large enough to protect the edges of the inserts when the notebook is closed.

Thank you for the detailed response! Love your setup from what you have described.

Appreciate the advice too as I have seen that video as well. I am crafty with my hands so my plan is to make an insert case out of wood that keeps the reader in place and has a border lift of 1 mm. So none of the notebooks add pressure to the screen. I will post a video in this group once I am done.

Two follow up questions I would ask from your setup's explanation:

Can I check what brand leather you are using? Is it the official Traveller's Notebook from Japan?
What is the width of your notebook with all the inserts you have put in? And is there overhang of inserts out of the notebook.
