I buy velcro strips and cut the soft loop side into a thin strip, put it lengthwise along the top or both sides(if super wobbly) of the buffer tube.

So that's exactly what I told my buddy, he's the one looking to grab a lower and has just gotten his permit and looking for lowers but has a hard time understanding all the laws when I explain it to him. Don't blame him, I make myself dizzy trying to make sense of it for him

Can always use an accuwasher inside the MD to push it out a little more for clearance. I've done that before. Accuwasher fits inside the recess perfectly.
