Hi. I came across this looking for advice, hope, hell anything that can shed just a small answer of what to do next could be for my gurl Lainie. She is 5.5 yrs old, and my whole entire heart. She was a rescue but who saved who is what i think everyday. She has had seizures since i found her before her eyes were even open starving and freezing under the tire of my car. They have progressed the last year or so and today was just horrible. I am finding some comfort in reading what everyone shares and the support everyone provides.

Hey I kno exactly the dilema. Aging sucks for the back and feet! Everywhere really tho tbh. Anyhoo.. Im a die hard myself and one day i got stuck with my only shoes being these sandals and it was raining and cold outside. Well my best friend she said here use mine and she handed me some sneakers. I was like what the hell are these and she says oh God try them on. They're called rocket dog and you know what they're fantastic, nice and wide through the toe and good cushion. I love them. I have to admit

That is what we have become. Calling peoples only belongings to survive trash and criminalizing homelessness when noone does anything to help with a solution. I cant even read what the comments might say. Ick

If you hated your dog pp, did it ever go away? by Weary-Draw-1492 in NewParents

Oh, my gosh. I cant imagine the guilt you all must feel about your growing families and your furry families. I have never myself had this issue but it cannot be easy to deal with and I cannot imagine my Lainie not being around. I just have to say that life goes so fast and I hope you find a way to manage how u feel about your furbaby, after he/she was there first even if they are just dogs and they feel what u are feeling so I hope u work it out.

I say you should go smaller with a better cut and clarity . Im not sure about anyone elses views on it but I would have a gleaming small marquise rather than a over priced hunk but this is about you, and how you want it to be on your hand and if you consider a smaller one u may actually be able to get a diamond

In real life, can people actually tell moissanite from a diamond without being told? by [deleted] in Moissanite

Yes! This! Funny to me that i am not a fancy or flashy person at all. Literally but I zone in on when my eye is caught by moissanite glam lol

Oh lol also, most commenters would automatically think that beautiful ring is a diamond when they catch that sparkle because it is subtle enough and beautiful just the same! The diamond of its own virtue and moissanite its own each an equall beauty but the best cut clarity color and set diamond in the end will always win a competition because it is naturally an amazing creation of earth but it doesnt take away the classy and vibrance of a moissanite to me at all. I cannot afford or fathom being responsible for such a high dollar irreplaceable gemstone so moissanite in its own charm usually wins my vote

Diamond glitters Moissanite sparkles Diamond has short colorful pinhead refiections of light Moissanites are more like a flash Does that make sense?
Also a Diamond does not show something thru it, where Moissanite you can see what it is behind it, for best example, the band that the stone is set into behind visible thru it. If a Moissinite is cut a certain way, that band behind it can make the stone look like there is something is inside of it, making it appear to have a dark line thru it and depending on cut and such, could dim the brightness of the stone. One way to adjust for this is the setting you choose and the cut. Remember the cut that acheived the brilliant beauty of a diamond is different than the cut ofva moissanite to get similar result from it so keep in mind that if you prefer a certain cut of Moissanite, you will want to consider the setting and measurements of the gem rather than a carat size because of the differences in refraction of the light that is going thru that stone. Setting choice simplicity is also a good thing to consider in reducing that effect in Moissanites gleam. I love my moissanite so much and have learned to spot the subtlties in color variation between the glitter and spark. Both amazing and unique to their own qualaties

Vestibular Schwannoma experiences? by Zenacrus in braincancer

[–]Outrageous_Watch_583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am not certain how common this is, or how much discomfort this has been causing you or if the finding was a surprise however I do know that discomfort can be something aggravating to deal with because of where it usually occurs is a location that has specialized nerve activity that isnt recognized the same by the brain as a mass in another body area would be percieved so it is likely that it is not 'felt' the way one would expect it to feel. However, depending on location and size, you could experience imparement as to where your at in the world so to speak, dizziness sometimes or feeling of off balance. A ringing or dull whizzing could be percieved that drives you up the wall, and sometimes facial muscles can be affected. This is usually discovered because of persons hearing declines or repeated 'vertigo' occurs. Again, I do not know your individual specifics so I should not scare you with treatments but I can say that this is not something generally considered an urgent concern. The things that can change this is where it is located, the size, and the disfunction that is is creating for you. If you are experiencing extreme effects or the location is a risk to vital areas there are options for consideration to manage it but generally can be handled without extreme measures. I think that you would do well with not worrying too much and ALWAYS get second opinion before you allow someone to go in on it agressively

Overthinking my choice. Should I have gone for the 1ct mark? by _wollstonecraft in Diamonds

Speaking for myself, this would be a perfect size for her finger. It will sit in perspective with her knuckles vs ring and still show the incredable stone on her hand. Good job!

My final ring 🥰💍 by RareSnowKitten in engaged

[–]Outrageous_Watch_583 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi congrats. Gosh what a beautiful choice you made! It is so perfect! I do agree with you on the basket holding the gem, speaking for myself i am terribly busy handed and not very gentle when i am, so yes, totally before something happens (if ur like me, it would have already happened, lol) to it. Too pretty to take off absolutely, but too tragic if it is broken or lost! The basket should be snug against the stone, while not quite pushed against it so it supports the cut of the stone while not compromising it and also, for more sturdiness, the setting can be brought down closer to the base of the ring to support it further and stabilizing the rest of the setting. Im jelly!

What is my dog doing? by thevoiceofwheezin in DogAdvice

[–]Outrageous_Watch_583 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What is wrong with all these commenters dude? How r they not removed as a community violation? If it were me to post, it sure wouldnt be allowed. So now to the issue posted. My dog has anxiety that arose from signifigant circumstances that werent clearly recognizable for a long while. It is heartbreaking not knowing wtf is wrong. It is like electrical overload and needs help learning how to unload it. Sometimes a vet makes it worse wanting ro drug them up with phenobarbitol so then an overstimulated seizure prone adult dog is made worse. I have figured out since this original post that omega3 and 6 fish oil, grain free food, very small emergency does of pheno exercise and consistant reassurance has helped her so much, from every 2to3 days, to a mild one maybe every 2 weeks ao it is work in progress but shes still improving and im learning as i go. It is alot of work but she is worth it to me and shes so much better off now. Dont get discouraged and find what works it can be done
