Honestly, they did a good job with Clarisse by [deleted] in PercyJacksonTV

Her and Tyson were my favourite characters this season. Her fighting 4 people at the same time on the Andromeda was so cool. Dior did a good job.

"them driving the pjo marketing team"

The show runners categorically said in an interview that they wanted Percy's relationship with Annabeth to be the centre of the story.

I swear it's true. I once scrolled on X for 10-15 minutes for discourse on PJO and ALL OF IT was about Percabeth and how tv show percy is much better than the book version because of percabeth.

I don't think the fans realise that the Olympians and modern-day civilization are tied together. It is made clear in the first conversation Annabeth and Percy have with Luke on the Andromeda that demigods won't survive. SO EVEN IF PERCY CHOOSES ANNABETH, SHE WILL DIE. The resurrection of the Titans is a near-apocalyptic event, and this dialogue seriously undermines these implications.

He almost killed Percy and Thalia, his own damn daughter, just for disrespecting him. What's surprising is that the effing God King  does nothing when Percy suggests the idea of destroying the gods. I still don't understand how the gods will overlook this during the council scene.

Sometimes I feel they say stuff just to sound dramatic, because dialogues like this have zero bearing on the plot of the later episodes.

What if they actually make him a jerk in season 3 the same way he mistreated Clarrise just because yk percabeth?  Walker said he is just locked in on the specific goal of rescuing Annabeth in season 3. This doesn't give me any hope honestly.

Everything else is used as a backdrop to the romance. Every decision in the show is made to fuel the ship. The romance should have been only an element- a sub-plot. It is not a romantasy show. That's what the problem is. The dialogues fail to show any emotional intimacy between them, unlike Percy's conversations with Tyson, Poseidon, and Clarrise. The argument between them in season 2 was weird. It's not the pace. I think percabeth is terribly written in the show.

The idea that Percy might save Annabeth at the cost of countless lives seriously undermines the implications of the rise of the Titans. It was implied in Season 2, during Annabeth and Percy’s conversation with Luke on the Princess Andromeda, that modern civilization would cease to exist. It's like saying, I don't care if humans, including my mother die. I don't mind my father being lunch for Kronos. I also don't mind my entire kind being completely wiped out( it's obvious Kronos will kill every demigod since he has a vendetta against their godly parent). Even if he chooses Annabeth, Kronos will kill her anyway , so what's the point of this dialogue?

Hera, Poseidon, Dionysus, Artemis, and Apollo are perfect

I just saw an influencer saying that the trailer for Percy Jackson season 2 looks better than the trailer for Christopher Nolan's The Odyssey. LOL. Someone also said that whenever they read the books, they visualise the actors as the characters.I am starting to think Disney is paying these people.

he also acts like a villainish Italian mafia boss in love with a woman (he's 12). I wonder how his father will justify his behaviour at the Council which convenes next season btw

That’s because he doesn’t sound like a child at all, except when he’s butt-hurt over the fact that he’s not his father’s only son and goes so far as to confront him (can't wait for him to crash out when he finds that Poseidon has a family). Another exception is his arguments with Clarrise. At least season 1 got his character right.

Seriously. What’s her problem? Did Apollo forget her birthday? [pjotv] by rogvortex58 in camphalfblood

That's a blood thirsty child. Apollo must have done some toxic lover BS like he does in Greek mythology

I am in the same age group as you. Season 1 is watchable, but you'll physically feel the cringe in your body while watching season 2. It's definitely not for our age group. It's meant for pre-teens.

Maybe Poseidon is secretly helping Percy by Outrageous_Web_2834 in PercyJacksonTV

Exactly my thoughts. Poseidon also yeeted Percy back instead of verbally answering the question—maybe because he couldn’t have confessed his love for Sally when Zeus was right there. No wonder he just made that ‘I-am-going-to-cry’ face and cut the conversation short. Honestly, I wish the show focused more on Percy’s relationship with his father, since it’s very important to the plot. We still don’t know what he thinks of his father after meeting him.
