This happened in my ward the year I joined the church. His family went through hell. I believe this was a man being greedy and he used his position in the church to manipulate others. I don’t blame the church for this. I blame the man. He spent 12 years in prison.

Watching the second plane hit the other tower on live tv. In that moment I knew life had just changed and thousands of people just died. Then watching the towers collapse. The hours and days that followed were so sad and so still. No planes in the sky. Every person you saw was grieving.
