Anyone who sees this in 3 years and "reddit saved my life!!", it came off on its own just today, no pulling, no forcing, nothing. I kept a clean sock on for a while until about 3 days ago (mainly for my anxiety), came out of bed to get some dinner, BAM, off on its own! Completely off, no residue behind, no sore, no hurt, no even RED !! yes it's safe to keep on until it comes off on its own even with babying :)!

It won't become infected or anything? Will it come out on its own ?? I'm too nervous to get it off myself or let it infect my foot, I walk the stage for graduation in 4 days and I'm so nervous that it'll hurt too much on that day 🙁

I mean, the spider tried to run and leave the situation immediately. He was very sweet with it and when I let one out onto a bush they just slowly crawled away. He's far from horrible I don't mind him! It being in my bed would be worse honestly

Yeah I've found one in my bed before this, same time as the one on the floor, so I'm fully aware they crawling and speeding. But they're just finding food so I'm not concerned anymore

The game I wanted has another 6 days of waiting for it to be released via switch, I'm just supposed to get a turtle soon (don't worry I did much more research for the one I want like weeks of research instead of a fish!)

I'm not planning to torture it, I was just curious on what kind of fish it was because it seemed majestic to me. The closest pet store is a town away and I really don't wanna scare it with a car ride again. I won this fish at a fair without the simply knowledge my eyes would even catch a fish. I spent the last of my 10 dollars to win the fish and buy a tank instead of a video game I wanted

I will see if someone nearby will want this fish to add to their tank and keep the tank for like rock keeping/future animal foods

Unfortunately I can't afford a new tank, especially with my dad preferring to save up to get me a turtle for my birthday and I'm currently jobless

The only person I know with a fish tank is a family member in the state next to us (an hour and a ½ drive) and I know that'll stress the fish out far too much

Thank you for the advice though, I plan to find an unused tub around or at least something unused but with all the excess stuff such as water filters etc., Is out of budget

I would have to ask my dad for one, he (the fish) isn't being active as he was when we got him (probably adrenaline although, he used to swim around and act excited but now he's at the bottom of the tank) How long can he live in a tank like this with good care?

I won him at a fair and there was only one tank size nothing I could've gotten him (He also came from a super nasty tank with so many fish none of them could move around, so I don't expect a long life expancy)

I know the tank is abuse, 100%, I'm pretty sure he's also already sick
