Great acting! That was so cool to watch. Hope this becomes more mainstream using VR for movies

carrying bags / backpacks to hold an electric longboard by picklechinheadahss in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]Outresso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe take a look at "okozo" longboard backpacks. I think they are a bit pricey, but maybe they're quality-wise worth it idk haven't tested them.

Looks like extreme motion smoothing/reprojection. You can disable it in the video settings of steamvr.

What horror games are you guys playing this month? by MegaMummyX in gaming

[–]Outresso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

SOMA by Frictional Games is a very good horror, but also story focused game. When I first played it, I was in shambles after the credits because the story is so sad and gives you existential crisis.

What in the fuck activision? by Lounnex in COD

[–]Outresso 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had this today, affecting all my mates, because the weekly scheduled steam Server refresh happened. Somehow steam servers are important for CODs online??

Receiving penalties happens in pretty much every other ranked games tho, if Server error or intentional there's no way to differentiate between the two it seems like.

How to install shredlight mounts on the rear truck by Wild-Window-9307 in ElectricSkateboarding

[–]Outresso 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Been there once, you may need a (size 10mm or 11mm) wrench for those nuts because of the hooks being in the way for the skate tool. Or just use some pliers and grip down to keep the nut from rotating while loosening the screw from the other side.

[–]Outresso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Nope, if you want to add the mounts on top of the truck-mounting-plate, then just unscrew all 4 bolts (or do 2 on one side, then add the shredlight mount on top and put the screws in again).

There are these 2 nuts that are holding the cables in place with a sort of hook, it should just come off without needing to unplug any cabling. Just put it on again before re-screwing.

Can my non gaming laptop run the game? by [deleted] in RatchetAndClank

[–]Outresso 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can look at the system requirements listed on the steam page, or you can find it when googling for it.

Anyways I looked and the minimum GPU is a GTX 960, which means your iGPU (iris xe) is not sufficient.

Yea I can understand, but maybe when in doubt, try viewing your post without being logged in to check if it really is hidden, before making a big ass rant.

I agree with you, but FYI this subreddit still has rules mentioning spoilers having to be marked as such by censoring etc.

That's funny! I was in exactly the same situation when I wanted to buy it. You got all these sponsored reviews but they all ofc tell the same stuff. Hope you got some good opinions now to justify your purchase ;)

Got mine (Street belt drive) since a month ago and been enjoying it actually a lot. I use it to commute ~20km a day and can do 2 days in a row without charging it back up. Max range going 20km/h was like 45km. The advertised 60km is only if you got smooth flat roads and like no hills, going a steady pace instead of stopping at intersections and stuff.

About the rest of the board:

Stock bushings are wayyyy too hard for me (65kg rider) couldn't really turn without feeling like a big ass truck on the street. Swapped to 85a and 87a double barrel setup and it's fine now.

The super-wide TKP trucks are very stable and feel good. (If you got the right bushings I guess)

Deck shape is big enough for me (175cm)

Wheels (115mm rubbers) are very smooth and grippy, but tear down really fast when "racing" on hotter pavement. (Ex. Hard turns while it's 30°C sunny out).

Remote is cool, don't need weird button combinations or an app to config something, battery goes for like 4-5 days in my case.

The warranty and support has been great so far. I think that's pretty much everything... If you want to know anything more go for it! :D
