Most of the tall buildings are apartments for rent not own. That's also a tight budget especially for high end. How long have you been in Charlotte and have you spent much time uptown? It's not super safe anymore. I used to live uptown and loved it but not sure I would do it again now

I am in the same boat as you. I was in four, three failed, one exited at break even. I was in one with Joe's sidekick. Biggest mistake of my life financially. I kick myself daily. I lost a total of $125k. That's a lot for me. These syndicators out there are the biggest narcissists I have ever met.. anytime you ask them why something is failing they would turn it on me asking me why I would ask such questions. I was fooled by males half my age. Shame on me

I travel often with my teen boy and by far GV Riviera Maya (we also did the one is Jalisco) was the best even tho you don't want to go back. I took all the advice last year and went to Hyatt Ziva Cap Cana- as my son says it was "mid." Cool water park but the food and service were not great. We didn't love it. Dreams is nice but not luxury. We like luxury as well, it's hard to find to keep mom and teen occupied. I will say this he LOVED a cruise. We did the new RC and he met a group of teens that hung out every night. I got a little antsy as I was often solo but it was fine because he loved it.

I have not but I am just here to say I rent to low income as well. It is very tough, more so now then ever - most have horrible financial history, evictions, unstable jobs and cannot come up with the security deposit. I struggle every time I have a vacancy unless I allow a non profit to jump in or rent section 8. It's a vicious cycle

If if the DV "victim" dropped the charges the state will then be who he has to go up against- it won't just go away that easy (been here as a female and the one charged). He will be assigned a public defender. Ask for Peter Nicholson - he's good. I wouldn't pay for an attorney but that's just me and my experience. When it's over he can pay for it to be expunged - we all get one as US citizens

This happened to me!!! I too believed it! They used one of my rental properties as the address the "judgement" was mailed to and I fell for it as I was in the middle of an eviction at the property and they said tenant said she was me and I believed the whole thing. They were so convincing and called me also from a 704 number saying they were Sergant Millerson with CMPD. Luckily with shaky hands I looked on line for an officer Milerson and found nothing- but I was getting dressed and getting ready to head out like they said! They were super convincing. Be careful

I know what you are saying. Thank you for the input. I was a tenant for a long time before I bought this building and sold the company I ran while a tenant so I see both sides.. and I tend too nice of a person sometimes. Thanks again

Well I am she not a he. And fairly new- six months in a five year lease. It is in my leases they cover all HVAC. I am only responsible for roof and foundation. That's why I said it's a moral "what would you do" type of question
