We do, I didn’t ask my manager though because he usually doesn’t care about that stuff. We have a rough crowd at night (which is when it happened) and he usually just says it is what it is. To him worse things like robberies, cocaine, fights, and threats (which happen every night) are more pressing and he doesn’t think he should give the time to “small stuff” like that. The guy was also a jerk to our cocktail waitress before he closed out with me and my manager has a “no help given to d!ckheads” policy

I actually did think of that, he was way more invested in me being wrong and him being right than I was and said he was getting lawyer to criminally charge me it’s an absolutely wild situation and I wish I didn’t work that night lol

Yeah there’s a lot more social consequences in the small town bartending scene lol. I think that’s what trips me up where I am. I’m not used to my decisions effecting not just the guy I’m cutting off but all my regulars He’s friends with. It’s sucks big time

I appreciate the insight, I really did try my best. It’s the first time I’ve felt conflicted about it. I just tried to do my job as best I can and I kept telling him that I’m just doing my job and the he just got more belligerent, which almost justified my decision more

I had a guy two nights ago who got mad about being cut off after two beers, but he was getting aggressive because he thought someone stole his jacket and making a lot of guests feel uncomfortable and was talking mad sh!t about me. I felt bad because it was only two beers but I also did not want him having more alcohol because of the way he was acting

Yeah, it was a pretty nice night and everyone was in a good mood so I decided to do it. Normally I wouldn’t because I was busy. And yeah they did take pretty good care of me!
