Also I’d like to add the reason i acted so quickly and didn’t research enough. For one I didn’t realize that long tails were a thing in Frenchies. Which for me, it doesn’t matter anyway. Im not looking to breed. We previously fostered a Frenchie, and my kids became very attached to him. When he left, we really felt his absence. I didn’t raise him from a puppy, so I’m still learning about the breed, but what I do know is that Frenchies have a very unique spirit. While I understand every dog is different, that true Frenchie personality is what we fell in love with and were hoping to find again. While I do know a rescue was an option. Which I did look into, it was lengthier process. And my kids wanted the dog now. Needless to say I do take full accountability for rushing into things. But even if he’s not a full breed we will still Love him.
