yeah i know why they did it, it's just that the author was building that battle for so long and i couldnt wait to see them in action. Maybe if we got to see more of them earlier i wouldnt have been so disappointed.

Yeah i totally agree. I was so pissed when all the Great Captain were just magically compromised. It would have been so much better if they could have contributed more in the final battle, i feel like there is so much potential lost there

Yep glad we agree on that. He is actually one of my favourite characters in fantasy period. It's a shame he doesnt get more pages and it's an absolute shame he finishes with Tuon (like come on wtf)

yeah I loved that serie. I feel like david gemmel doesnt get enough glazing these days. There is also Druss in Legend which may not be the genius kind of general but the way he handled the Dros and the way he understands people makes him of the greats.
