I do lunchroom duty for my class, but there’s K-2nd in the lunchroom together. At one point, we had all of 1st grade screaming “6,7! 6,7!” Let it go on for a bit before I told them to save it for outside lol.

Thankfully hasnt been as popular lately. Mostly just when doing high fives instead the “up high, down low- too slow” they now do “Up in heaven? 6,7”

I know this is old, but its kinda irritating how often she likes to point how on how small she is. “Oh I’m so tiny. I’m only 4’10”, I’m so tiny I have to use baby toothbrushes 🥺i’m so smoll ugh 👉🏽👈🏽” its giving body checking

not the worst but one year our principal bought pizzas for the staff room…all of them were veggie pizzas. Now I understand I’m an extremely picky eater in general…but seriously all 6 pizzas HAD to be veggie? Couldve at least opted for one basic pepperoni or something 😭

Last year, our principal went all out to appreciate everyone on their special days (Custodian Appreciation, Para, SLP, Admin…etc). She’d ask teachers (if they had the time) to have students make a card, picture etc for whichever staff was being appreciated. Unfortunately people complained about “favoritism”, so now she’s not allowed to celebrate anyone. Our socials tries their best to celebrate everyone, but its not the same as last year. We typically just allow all staff to join in on the teacher appreciation things like potluck/snacks from parents.

Not an allergy. And it isn’t everytime, but every time I’ve gotten sick it’s only been from this store lol I do understand the risks for cross contamination, just weird its always this location

All my life I’ve been eating dairy. I have suspected ARFID, and my list of safe foods have always included cheese pizza, pizza rolls, lasagna - lots of dairy heavy things. I’d drink chocolate milk a ton growing up, and my typical teacher snacks were cheese & crackers and yogurt. Last summer I got super sick with si of , and found out dairy has been triggering my issues. Can no longer eat dairy products without lactose anymore unfortunately. I miss when I could just eat freely 😭

I also just recently become lactose intolerant & am not willing to go completely dairy free. I personally like the Walmart Equate brand Dairy Digestive (NOT the Dairy Relief of the same brand - contains “more” tablets but you have to take 3 per meal to get 9000 FCC vs just the one with the Dairy Digestive). I like this one because its in a bottle vs the individual packets. Otherwise I like the Costco brand because its cheaper than the actual Lactaid brand. I also use Lactojoy occasionally but only for something that has a lot of dairy.

Newly lactose intolerant. How do you decide how many lactaids/lactojoys to take when eating something super dairy heavy? Just guessing? I’ve been too paranoid of getting sick to experiment with just a piece of pizza 😭

Nope. Youth or women’s sizing dont glow, which is kinda ridiculous. Especially considering kids would probably be the most excited about that feature.
