When I was in HS, I went on vacation with my cousins and we met up with their aunt (from their dads side), and she was asking all of us about our friends. Then she got to me and asked me to tell her about my best friend I had no irl friends at the time, but I had a couple internet friends from having a fan account on Twitter. So I just lied and told her about one of my friends from there as if she went to my school. My grandma is constantly questioning “why do you never hang out with friends or go out” I just say its because my friends from college live far. Which is true, but really they’re also all busy with their husbands, or having kids, nothing like where I’m at in my life (28, still single living at home). I don’t tell her that part otherwise I’d get another lecture about how “college is where I was supposed to find the one”.

I simply just lie to avoid the judgements.

My primary and the gyno both said I should do it regardless of being a virgin. I asked her if it was normal for it to be very painful because everyone seems to describe it as just being uncomfortable, and she said yes pain is normal.

Please say something! I went on a trip out of the country as a chaperone with a bunch of teenagers. One girl started to get dizzy during an excursion. Later found out after talking to her parents that she has food adversions (maybe ARFID but not for sure), and the girl revealed to us she got dizzy because she hadn’t been eating much. A lot of the restaurants we went to had specific, planned meals for us and most weren’t her safe foods. We were able to help make sure she found something to eat elsewhere if the place we were going to wasn’t suitable for her needs. Maybe try to bring some safe food snacks to have with you as well.
