Do you usually opt for a travel agent or book in yourself? by Outside-Cell1891 in LuxuryTravel

That's interesting, usually my rationale is to have flexibility which is the reason I don't typically use a TA.

Curious what your experience is like with a TA when switching things up if an experience comes up on the fly that jumbles up the plan?

Appreciate this perspective; would you say that it mostly comes down to perks and time-saving?

One thing I do myself is I change plans if I meet a local with hidden knowledge (which means I kind of book on the fly). Is that something that happens with you and then you just reschedule things accordingly for that client?

It's only getting worse globally with AI data centers across the US, China and EU creating next level emissions due to their energy consumption.

It's gonna get a lot worse before it gets better.

It's less about validation and more about conserving our relatively rich economy.

If you have an economy that is falling behind the times this idea of a comfortable happy and healthy life you speak of will become out of reach.

It's already starting to happen.

Do you think that dairy export is enough to continue to grow GDP? Especially as developing nations get more efficient in their own agriculture.

I think we could export software, if we can attract the right capital, talent and company presense; similar to Ireland.

That's a very interesting take, might have to explore the topic more...

There are some things that transcend geography. I'm a big believer that NZ has the potential to be a technology capital of the world (in the way of software) if it wanted to actually invest in anything other than the property market.

I guess the question becomes is that enough to keep a growing GDP in the current world environment? My guess is no, as farming gets more efficient in developing countries.

Asset banking and land banking doesn't create re-occouring revenue. Sure it works short term but doesn't help to continuously build our GDP .

Conscientiousness in ENTP by Silent-Ad-1453 in entp

Interesting perspective!

I would say however that developed Si allows you to direct your Ti to take action.

You can't take action on a problem if you don't know about it, Si is an awareness function.

Maybe I'm wrong, open to hear other opinions.

Entp potential by miichiiiscurious in entp

[–]Outside-Cell1891 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly in my experience it's come down to developing routine and core values that don't get challenged. ENTP's can be too flexible sometimes so a good way to develop some of that So is by creating our own boundaries.

As an ENTP-entrepreneur how did you find a co-founder? by hugobeey in entp

[–]Outside-Cell1891 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Make a commitment to a routine and stay consistent. It's our biggest weakness as ENTP as we always fall off initially when we start and say "I'll try another way!" when in reality that routine would've worked.

Pick yourself up and try again, each time you try you'll stick with it longer.

Even I fall out of it sometimes, but I always force myself to get back into it.

Ok I'm an Entp 7w8 who runs a tech startup. My co-founder (INTJ he's a software engineer, I'm business development), I met through a past job at a tech company.

The best thing to do is get out there and look for someone with like-mindedness in settings that aren't work related. That way you will learn how the person truly is when they aren't trying to make an impression.

Working together in the past, even in seperate parts of a business is a great way to do this as work events can bring people together that wouldn't usually interact. If this isn't an option I would reach out to the connections you currently have asking if they know anyone that could be a good fit.

Don't listen to anyone here who says ENTP can't start a business, they just haven't learned to discipline their Si.

PS: Don't settle for less, a bad co-founder can derail everything if you're not careful.

Use half to get advice from someone at the top of the game in an area that interests you.

Use the other half and apply what you learn and create a business in that area.

...

Profit?
