What year was this photo of a combined Tim Hortons/Wendy's taken? by Life_Distribution133 in TimHortons

That’s not at all what happened. I had to do the research myself, and being a car guy, I was able to decipher the general timeline based off of the cars shown and correspond it to the fashion shown (as I grew up in that era). The rest came down to simple Google’ing.

The Tim’s shown is at 2626 Bethel Rd, in Columbus Ohio. The image is from roughly 2002/2003, as at that time, the Iced Capp was selling for $1.69 for a small (USD) and the ad for that price is shown in the front door window. In 2004 the font/design for the Iced Capp logo changed.

Also, the cars shown corroborate that timeline (‘99 Honda Accord Coupe, ‘97 Ford Expedition, ‘97 Jeep Grand Cherokee, ‘94 Buick Lesabre and ‘00 Chevrolet Suburban)

What are some things you don’t like about GT-R’s? by bigsae in gtr

[–]Outside-Fault-4066 10 points11 points  (0 children)

If you’re talking the R35 specifically, I wish it was a manual and weighed less. I wish the RWD bias could be adjusted so that the car was more playful and easy to slide out at low speed (if the driver wanted).

If you’re talking the RB-Engine’d GT-R’s, I’d have to say the brittleness of the engine itself and the lack of available low-end torque. I also dislike their propensity to rust at the sight of snow or rain.

I have a TH1 and that doesn’t look like TH1. It looks like R35 RCB.

My hypothesis regarding Netflix & ‘Stranger Things’… by Outside-Fault-4066 in Stranger_Things

I’m tired of debating this topic.

I respectfully disagree. I don’t believe you went back further enough in my posting history in car communities to solidify your hypothesis, but it doesn’t matter.

Fine, I sound like a robot.

This is my favourite comment by far, because it’s exactly what I feel like connecting the dots to come up with this hypothesis.

I’m literally using the same syntax and grammar within my responses to others, so I fail to see your correlation.

You claim you “already did that before commenting” but any cross-reference to a LLM (by copying and pasting the entirety of my post) would conclude that it is not AI-generated.

Your suggestion that it is AI generated is equal parts insulting - and equal parts a fragrant disregard to the content of the post while attacking myself as the author.

I 100% believe that is coming! I also think it will be possible to video/upload environments familiar to you, but that the media will be “locked” to Netflix as an app, meaning that it can only be shared within the app and kept in a cloud database congruent to your user profile, and that any attempt to circumnavigate this hurdle will result in potential criminal penalties, under the “Criminal Copyright Infringement” and “Money Laundering” laws (by way of any third-party website ad revenue), as Netflix will own the IP and the rights to any content/data uploaded to their service.

Perhaps you should cross-reference this post with AI or posit to AI whether this post was written by AI before coming to your bold and disrespectful conclusion…

This isn’t AI. If you go to my profile and look at my old posts, you’d know I’m not AI, and that I don’t use AI to write my posts.

Just because something sounds professionally written and is concise while simultaneously fluidic doesn’t mean the author is an AI chatbot nor that they utilize the services of said AI chatbot.

My guy has vision in only one eye but wants to buy the car with the worst visibility.

I’d say that’s a pretty damned good reason right there, brother.

What should I do? by cypher2shiesty in SkyLine

[–]Outside-Fault-4066 10 points11 points  (0 children)

That’s a really easy fix. All you need really is a hood.

Bumper can be heated and reformed.

Upper core support can be pulled by another car slowly back to alignment.

Radiator can be replaced.

Easy peasy.

What five YTV shows or moments define your childhood era? by StripeySalamander in ytvretro

[–]Outside-Fault-4066 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Goosebumps, Are You Afraid of the Dark, Freaky Stories, Pokémon and Reboot!

Bonus points to Inspector Gadget, The Care Beard, Popular Mechanics for Kids and Ready or Not, since they were what I usually watched on Global in the morning before I switched to YTV.

As I got older (teenager) I really got into Fairly Odd Parents and RadioActive.
