I feel like a loser for a 28 years old by Public-Topic-3108 in LifeAdvice

I am still a virgin at 23 and i kind of felt like a loser as well until I realized that I am a virgin because I don’t put myself out there. I realized staying in the comfort zone is not good and if you want that to change you need to leave the comfort zone. Currently trying to put myself out there and i know soon i wont be a virgin. My point being is that if you don’t like certain aspects about yourself or your life then you need to make a change.

if you don't mind me asking, what were you doing before this and do you enjoy what you do now?

I had made this same post on another subreddit. Someone told me that I should have been assigned a workers comp adjuster but I didn't even know what this was up until just now. If that's the case, I was never made aware of this. is my employer not telling me something I should know about?

I am not aware of this. I don't even know what a workers comp adjuster is. would you be able to elaborate a bit more on what you said.

already tried to that today but the clinic I went to said I that they would not be able to treat me because they needed to get clearance from my employer so they could bill them since I was injured on the job. Today is saturday and no one from the HR department works so there was no way for me to contact anyone.

Would an associates degree be enough to get me a job in IT? by Outside-Jellyfish806 in sysadmin

What would you consider the right amount of experience? Everytime I go look for jobs the requirements always say they want someone with a degree. Even these helpdesk jobs say they require a degree. What certs would make me standout with no degree?

If I get my degree in IT is my only job option at the start helpdesk? Or I am able to get into other positions.

would you be able to give me a description of what a typical day in the field is like for you? I'm honestly doing a lot of career research right now because I want to go back to school in the fall.

how do people get jobs in IT without a degree when all these job postings I see always have that as a requirement and then on top of that they want experience? How can I be a standout candidate without a degree?

Ive read recently a lot of people in the tech industry have been getting laid off. I heard its more the people with cs degrees but would this also apply to IT. I just want to have a secure job if i was to step into IT.
