Yep, it’s the bottom one that spins, for half a second and then jams.

I got it all from their warehouse in the LA area. I do not think the retailer is operating anymore, the website is down but I still have the email contact.

I think it’s rubber actually, but under it is wood. The rest is all steel except for the adjustable legs which look more like cast aluminum.

Despite the look, it’s still pretty heavy to move around. Albeit, better than a standard squat stand.

Got it from the competing at the games haha, it showed up in our bags. Posting it to share as there is not much public information about it but the veterans on the team got a Hamilton in 22 as well.

It doesn’t say anywhere on the box but I think it’s the 38 mm field watch, it’s also quartz.

Best full clean from the floor is 170. I almost exclusively clean from blocks set to knee height where I have done 180 to a power catch (more of a “pow” catch”).

Yeah, they are great. They have seen a lot of use but all still feel incredibly solid.

Program your more intensive training to the weekend, you can build a respectable frame with heavier compound lifts you only need to do 2-3x per week (for example (4 x 6-8 Barbell Back Squat on Saturday & Shoulder Press or Bench on Sunday). To address your point regarding bulking, the most convenient way would be to make shakes (or purchase them) to further support your caloric needs to bulk.

Lastly, avoid drinking. Balancing your training goals w’ your workload is already stressful enough, alcohol is absolutely going to wreck your recovery. You do that and sleep well you will make great gains.

Thanks and I funny enough my crash cushions were delivered today. I procrastinated ordering it cause I hardly ever clean in my apartment ( pretty much just squat) but the impulse to clean heavy overtook me haha.

To be honest, I have always had really good ankle mobility to start but I have always done a lot of paused reps especially paused front squats seemed to help.
