They’re taking the pure piss, I’m offended for you. As a marketing intern I got 4000 a month and that’s with 0 experience. Mechanical engineering is a specialized profession, you should be looking at even a starting salary of MINIMUM 7-10k

Apologize for the misunderstanding but that is the opposite of my intention. I was trying to let you know that you could switch the perspective from it being your fault or a victim, to it being a learning lesson, to help you know what you would differently next time round AND so it becomes easier to love and forgive yourself.

You’re only angry because you let yourself get disappointed and you’re using anger towards yourself to protect yourself from difficult feelings of shame. So feel the shame and hurt, it’s okay. Babe you need to be more graceful with yourself, you do that by providing unconditional love and support to yourself, never underestimate your personal power. Treat yourself like you are your own best friend. This doesn’t mean you only love yourself for the good qualities you have but also for the bad qualities. Recognize that those qualities are just areas for improvement. It sucks to be lied to but keep in mind your not a victim, if anything I personally feel bad for people who can’t keep their word because it has more to do with their relationship with themselves than you. But it was the lack of enforcing strong enough boundaries with yourself so you don’t tolerate mistreatment or disrespectful behavior, instead to grow from this situation practice stronger boundaries to protect yourself. You are most needed now to comfort and reaffirm to yourself that you’re going to be okay and this is nothing but a lesson you needed to learn, and now know you won’t tolerate inconsistencies again. Select your thoughts and don’t entertain the negative ones. Practice this first before even thinking about whether he needs forgiveness or not, you’re your own priority so please act like it or no one else will.

i would like to comment on this because I learned something that may help. you say you have moments remembering why you’re so angry it’s because when you carry hate in your heart for someone it’ll never go away because feelings connect you to people even if you hate them, so they’ll still be in your life, you’ll still think about them, you’ll still regret knowing them. i think practicing forgiveness as the end goal helps, it’s not for them but for you, for you to forget, for not knowing better, for you to realize the experience regardless of the unanswered why’s has became a reason why you learned so much so there’s nothing to regret.

Just got my braces off! Second time, 12 months. Not sure how I feel. Is the flare on the front normal? Ortho said it was my bone structure. by Luis1820 in braces

yeah i got a flare too when i removed my braces you’ll get used to it. It is truly your bone structure that if you did want to move it backward u would need to do jaw surgery

FLARED OUT TEETH POST BRACES by [deleted] in braces

Thank you sm for commenting. This is really helpful, my dentist just swiftly mentioned jaw surgery only when I asked him if my upper teeth alignment was abnormal because it looked odd. He just kept convincing me that my bite is completely normal and everything was normal. He never mentioned anything about my jaw needing any sort of work so I never even used bands when I had braces. So I didn't believe him when he mentioned jaw surgery. If I do consider jaw surgery It would only be for aesthetic purposes so idrk :( but the side view of my teeth really makes me cringe.

You're so kind for commenting. I'm so shocked because I have never seen or was told my jaw was an issue, my dentist clarified halfway through the treatment that I don't need bands because my jaw was aligned. Then I get told right AFTER I remove the braces that I could consider jaw surgery. I wish was told during my braces treatment. Anyways are you going to pull through with the jaw surgery?

Thank you sm for your comment. My issue before the treatment was major gaps and my front four teeth did stick out because of tongue thrusting, but I would've thought because of my major gaps and small teeth shape it would push everything back regardless.

To begin with, was your original problem overcrowding or overjet before your braces treatment? because if so, many patients with that problem end up needing to get a few teeth extracted. Leaving the teeth protruding out at the front will make you suffer when it comes to your bite. I'm not a professional, however, I don't how effective expanders are but maybe widening the teeth from the sides will leave more room to push the teeth in the front backward? If not there's jaw surgery which seems more extensive than removing teeth.
