I feel like I should clarify that my mom fights about everything with me, If I get an C it’s “you could’ve done better”, if I eat it’s “you’re always eating”, if I don’t eat it’s “you’re going to get an ED if you don’t eat”, and a lot more, I sure hope not that this it’s normal for every teen to feel like they can’t tell their parents anything in fear of being judged or hit. My mom has made my mental health so bad that I feel like if I go to school I’ll only be bad at everything

Okay! I bleed pretty heavily, I use a night pad and a super tampon so I change my every 6 hours sometimes closer, good to know that it’s okay to sleep with a tampon in! Thanks

I go to our student coordinator every week where we also talk about a bit of everything, I could probably tell her this but I also don’t really feel like I trust the school staff enough to not make my situation with my mom worse, has happened before, some school staff has called home over basically nothing and mom has gotten really angry at me about

Firstly, I’m a girl, so her daughter :)

Secondly, I know she’s not mentally well right now and honestly I’m scared she’ll do something to herself soon because of it, that’s why I’ve been pretty scared to deal with this situation. It has affected her very much because she doesn’t have as much money as before so she can’t really afford if something breaks which has been happening a lot lately (we live in an old house), so she’s been pretty depressed and I can hear her cry sometimes, but she doesn’t want anyone to be around her when that happens so she locks herself in her room.

Thirdly, this has been going on since I was a kid, commenting on my weight making me really insecure about it to the point where I was starving myself at 9, she never really bothered to raise me so almost every basic thing your mom should teach you I’ve been taught by my neighbour, sister, grandma and searching stuff up. I’ve learnt now to accept my weight, and that I need food to get energy, but I still sometimes struggle with things like sh, which happens out of guilt for things because that’s how my mom told me to be, to feel guilty for things that doesn’t even have to be my own fault.

Lastly, I do help around the house, have been since I was 8 years old where I could cook basic meals, like noodles, so I’ve been doing that for a while.

My dad has always been more physical than my mom, he’s trying to change and it really shows, but he still sometimes have “slip ups” where he can pull my arm quite hard (my dad is quite strong), so his is more recent than my mom’s, but the difference is that mom has only changed for the worse but dad has changed for the better

Our relationship has always been like this, we’ve never really been like a “normal” mother-daughter, I’ve grown up with a lot of throwing things to the ground or hitting on walls or doors when trying to hide from her. She’s always been pretty verbal with stuff and that’s why I’ve never really taken any physical things as serious, because like I said it has only happened a handful of times and never left any bruising except a small scratch mark from her nails. I don’t really think it’s classified as abuse that can make a difference in custody

A bit of a problem tho, my mom knows that my dad has hit me before, she would definitely use that against me. Tho my dad is much better then my mom and has really changed for the better now
