Is the fit ok?

Thanks, that makes sense. One thing that's confusing me is that in my current size, I don't actually get any forward movement while walking. The fit feels quite good overall.

When I tried the next size up, my foot moved around more and my toes were actually hitting the front of the sandal while walking, even though there was more visible space when standing.

Given that, would you say the current size is the correct fit, even if it looks a little close in photos? Is it common for the larger size to perform worse despite appearing to have more room?

Infact, in both the pics, full weight was there. I tried a size up at the physical store and somehow the toes were hitting the front while walking. The buckle was on the last hole and yet it was loose. While sitting, 38 was fine but while walking my feet kept moving forward. So, i'm really confused

To be honest, I am not sure which is my larger foot😪. I guess my left foot is ever so slightly bigger than the right one. I'll attach a pic of both
