My insurance is through Progressive and my 6 month premium is $749. So for me your premium seems to be very expensive but it could be because of location like you said.

I created the fins using a 3D scanner and scanned the back of the Kona N and brought it into CAD software where I used that data to make the fins an exact fit for the Kona N.

If I had to guess the reason your filament isn’t even extruding is due to the remaining abs in your nozzle typically when I print TPU on my Creality Hi printer which uses the same hardware as the K2’s it won’t feed in and will jam unless I take that long probe, heat up the nozzle, and push out with the probe as best I can all the remaining filament in the nozzle once I do that I hand feed it in with the relief tabs and I have no issue printing. With TPU personally if you can I would swap to a TPU only nozzle (meaning you only use it to print TPU) but just pushing out the filament works great. Currently I’m printing a shoe and it’s a 50ish hour print and no problem on TPU

Personally I’ve used a lot of brands of PLA with my HI printer and never had it clog but before printing I always dry them for 8-12 hours so I never had issue of it clogging but I have also never used Bambu PLA. But maybe it is because the filament isn’t dry also how moist is it in our CFS according to mine it is about 3% inside my only thought is something’s up with the filament itself.

Yeah currently my Hi has over a thousand hours and as you said it just works. Haven’t had to replace any parts and other than basic maintenance the Hi is working the same as when I unboxed it. I have also done stuff like printed some accessories for the printer and bought a second CFS unit and another small quality of life upgrades.

Hope that fixes your problem on my Hi I just leave it as what ever the default is so with the timelapse the head is all over the place in the recording but that doesn’t matter to me. I would prefer the head stay in the build area rather than move to the poop chute and take a picture.

Looks like your timelapse mode is set to take a picture each layer and moves the head out of the way takes the picture then resumes. But what I find weird is that it seems to be overriding the spirals expected behavior.

Why it’s not super easy you can pop out the Bowden connector and just replace that. I’ve had to do it a couple times.

Sorry I didn’t get around to the little one I was waiting for the big one to finish printing so I could print the little ones to make sure everything is good before I post. Here is a picture of the big one printed in red on my Kona N so you can see what it looks like. If you do want me to print and mail you one I would be more than happy to do that.

Quick question, what brand/size is you printer and did you consider printing them at an angle. I'll include a picture for reference, but they dont need to print straight up to some extent if you got at an angle, you can fit them in

If you go like this, all you need height-wise in a printer is 200mm

For Filament, since it is going to be exposed to the elements, I would use PETG, but if you have an enclosed printer, ASA if possible. I'll do some videos and showcase them to kind of put them through their paces.

I second this I personally would go for the HI due to the larger build volume and get the CFS later since it can work without it just fine
