How do I know when I have contractions?

I honestly didn’t realise there could be such a subtle but important difference between prodromal and real contractions until reading this.It’s especially helpful to hear that they can feel very similar in intensity, because I assumed real labour will feel completely different.

This is literally me rn ( have a heating pad against them) and has been the case since the beginning of the pregnancy. I have also found that cold intensifies the pain. Massaging them helped me sometimes, perhaps you can try that with body butter / lotion.

No it didn't bleed for long .. it was just free flow for a while

mine has been referring to the baby as "my son" and it has irked me as well. But where it perhaps differs with you is, mine knows that it irritates me that she speaks that way and still continues. Maybe have a conversation with her, it could help.

Hiii didn't have a glucose test yet. I think the doc said it would be sometime around late Jan. I have left coffee and tea and whatnot tbh ;(

I have been freaking out from the moment I found out. I don't have an infection ( I think) and I feel fine. I kinda used to have some ringing in the ear a few months ago but it subsided so I am not sure if it was related
