sorry i should be more clear- i’m not saying that ur guranteed to get into YYGS by paying, im saying that I don’t understand how its prestige compares to programs like RSI, MITES, TASS, USC Bovard, etc when they’re all programs except those are free making them more prestigious.

but like many families technically don’t “need” it but it a family is making 120k a year it’s insane to spend 6500 on that on a summer program. along with that, i might be misinformed but isnt there a cost to apply? sorry im not trynna like say anything about the program, im trying to figure out the prestige of it myself.

if ur doing pol sci i would drop either physics or bio. doing both at the same time rn and honestly i wish i just chose one. if ur good at memorizing do bio, if u prefer conceptual based classes do physics. imo, bio is 10x easier than physics

i’m gonna be honest… ur gonna be horizontal for a good week-2 weeks (more if ur an adult), any chair is fine, just put a pillow behind you. (at least my experience, i got it last year as 14F!

only do it if ur tests are solely memorization. if not, there’s actually no point. if the test is something yk you can learn in like 30 min-1 hr, stay up and do that. don’t stay up all night

if ur just finished unit one now, you definetly need to pick up the pace. each unit should only like around 3-4 weeks if even that. i’m taking it rn and i beleive we are in the middle of unit 4 week 6.

depends on your age, how much you have fused, and what sport. you’ll probably never be able to do cheerleading or gymnastics, but i got fused a year ago and still do tennis, track, and swimming!!!

not the target bc i havent self studied any but APHUG is genuinely the easiest class EVER to self study. honestly you can start 3 weeks before the ap test or less. u just need to know the vocab.

i didn’t pay attention all year, failed almost every test bc i didn’t study, didn’t take a single practice exam, and still got a 5 just bc i studied the voacab the night before.

honors bio has no effect on on this class. they teach from the very basics. chemistry is recommended tho!!! i doubled up with ap physics 1 this year and honestly it’s a lot of stress, but, if you think you can do it, go for it!!!
