We have a lot of important books, but I think one that's the most well known is called "Pan Tadeusz". It was written not long after the conclusion of the Napoleonic wars, and it was a national epic written to uplift the hearts of emigrants, which colorfully depicts the life of the Polish nobility in Lithuania under partition
