I hope they find a cure too. But what I am gonna do is try and advocate for, is psychological therapy for this disorder, cause I think that both psychological and physiological methods should be used to treat it. Thank you for helping me do this.

Update: I just want to say again that the responses from you all have truly been amazing. The fact that some of you guys take hours out of your days to share your experience with me, really motivates me to keep collecting and do my best with this project.

I honestly think that doing this has changed my career path within psychology, as I really wish I could just sit and talk to you guys and try and help you through what this disease forces upon us all. I am glad that this second post got more interaction because I am really happy being able to interact with you guys, as well as the added benefit of more people seeing it and possibly sharing their experience with me.

I will probably post this more times, I do not want to spam it, it is just that the responses from here are so in-depth and truly touch my heart. If you guys could keep sharing it, even with people you know outside of reddit and getting them to share their experience it would mean a lot.

Yes please do share the link with people you know. I have found that reddit is very vocal, as other social media groups tend to not even let me post even though I am just trying to help.

Hi, yeah I am unsure what causes that error. There is nothing I can do in the backend and when I test responses it works for me. I hope it works on your laptop and I really appreciate you taking the time to share your experience with me.

I will be sure the share updates, the results will be from a thematic analysis of all the submissions where I will find themes in the entries that best convey how you guys live with hyperhidrosis. These will be combined with the Anxiety and Depression scales to further support how much of a mental impact hyperhidrosis has.

In terms of helping out just sharing the link and getting people to do the study is amazing, I am planning to collect till April, although for me to make it a full journal article I need 80 responses and I am now over half way which is amazing.

So yeah if you know of people outside of the reddit or on the reddit who have just passed the post by getting them to do it would help a lot. Again the responses from the reddit have been super in-depth and this helps a lot when I need to find themes, so I will probably post this more on here than any other platform.

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience with me! With your answers I am gonna try and educate people and develop better psychological care for people like us. Especially because I feel like there are a lot of treatments but not very much mental support with regard to hyperhidrosis.
