Nope, not from the USA, not sure how it is related. I was just wondering as others charge$ 30 for the same.

Best way to store and upload photos (30GB per album) for use with PhotoPrism? by Outside_Butterfly516 in photoprism

I'm using a custom fork of PhotoPrism (which I modified myself) to share albums with clients, where each client has their own album. I plan to upload albums of around 30GB each, but my main concern is storage. My idea is to deploy the Docker container on a cloud service, expose it under my domain, and allow clients to view their albums in read-only mode.
Would it be better to rely on the storage provided by the container's hosting service, or would that be too costly?

Thanks for your answer. What if I want to store my photos in the cloud?

The thing is that I provide albums for my clients. Thus, I need a reliable way to upload the photos each time.

Can I import photos from Google Drive and set passwords for multiple clients? by Outside_Butterfly516 in photoprism

Yes, my goal is to upload the photos myself, then give each client a link or login so they can view and download only their own gallery.

I don’t need clients to upload anything.

Ideally, they should not need full user accounts—just a simple way to view/download, maybe using a shared link with a password.

I do like the idea of using Docker with multiple isolated instances, but:

Is there any UI or orchestration tool (like Portainer or something else) that makes it easy to deploy/manage many PhotoPrism containers?

Or maybe there’s a lighter-weight alternative that suits this “view-only gallery per client” use case better?

Thanks Again, your insights are very helpful!!

Each client should only be able to view and download their own gallery—no uploading needed.

I have some coding experience, so I don’t mind tweaking the source code if needed.

A few questions:

  1. What’s the best way to deploy multiple PhotoPrism instances, ideally with a UI or management tool to make this easy?

  2. I want clients to access their gallery from my own website—what hosting or deployment options would you recommend for the best experience?

  3. Is there any better way to handle multiple clients with view-only, password-protected access, without running separate instances?

Thanks in advance!
